Designs that are considered complicated will also be charged an additional fee depending on said character/s complexity.

When ordering please follow the templates for the commission type.

Please make sure the information and references are clear and concise

If correct references are not provided, I cannot be held responsible for unsatisfactory results.

I do not work from descriptions of characters alone. At least 1 clean and clear visual reference is required. If you do not have one because you are seeking to commission a custom character or reference sheet then I will discuss the requirements with you privately.

Payment is made via PayPal invoice or Paypal.me link if client is having issues with invoices. This will be sent after negotiations.

PayPal payment must be sent in USD.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure you have no address selected if you are not paying shipping for a physical piece!!

Payment must be made before work will begin.

If payment isn’t rendered in 48 hours, I will confirm with you if you would like to continue.

Please don’t order a commission from me if you do not or will not have the funds needed. This is for your own well-being! Take care of yourself first please.

Payment Plans

Commission cost must be over $60 to be eligible for payment plans.

A deposit must be given to start the commission. Deposit on an individual basis; but usually at least 33% is required.

To continue after sketch more payments must be made.

Plans are fully negotiated on an individual basis for several factors.

Payment will need to be rendered for me to begin.

Progress is often tracked both on my Trello Commission Queue with frequent updates (normally daily).

Work in progress’ (WIPs) are offered upon request for any commission. However unless you state this in your initial contact I will work with the references given/reach out if I feel like I am lacking information to complete the piece adequately.

Client may ask for updates weekly.

You may ask for changes to the sketch, but once approved past the sketch only minor edits can be made, like color.

There is a limit to how much I will redraw the sketch, please know what you would like! 3 corrections are allowed before a fee. 5 if the piece is a larger project (i.e. over $100).

Turn around time should be less than one month for a complete image.

Once the piece is completed I will send the larger image to you via stash. If requested it can also be sent through email.

If a commission is needed in a certain time there is a priority fee which must be discussed before payment and depends on the priority the client needs.

I have the right to decline a deadline to ensure a quality piece

Commissions are often done in the order paid, but not always. Sometimes I take a break from working on one commission to work on another or if I need a change of pace. (Normally it involves at least one of those being intensive.)

I take pride in every single piece I create. I put all of my effort into my commissions to make the best possible work I can for my client. I do not sacrifice quality for time. This can cause me to be slower. Please be understanding. I do not ever want to give someone a piece of my work that did not have my all put into it.

If an alteration is requested and due to my error, then the alteration will be completed free of charge

If an alteration is requested and it was not stated in the initial commission information given, then I reserve the right to charge a fee based upon how much work has to be made, or I may also flat out refuse the alteration. Please be sure to give me all the proper information when ordering so nothing gets overseen.

Alterations to your piece after it has been completed by someone else other than myself are not permitted other than cropping for icons or banners by the client. People found altering my art without permission will be blacklisted.

The only exception is coloring line work, which still requires permission beforehand.

I reserve the right to cancel and refund any commission at any time.

Please contact me immediately when you make this decision. I understand unpredictable life events happen, but just like any other job, I must be compensated for my work and time.

Refund is based on current status of commission. You must ask through me:

Commission not started; Less than a week no refund; week or more 90% refund.

Commission in progress; will be negotiated on an individual basis

Commission completed; client will not receive a refund. (This includes “In-Stream” comms)

(If the piece paid for is less than shaded work, refund will drop further based on what tier was paid for.)

First cancellation through me client will be barred from commissions for 3 months.

After the second cancellation through me client will be barred from commissions for 6 months.

Third cancellation said person is barred from commissions permanently.

If the client decides they would like a refunded commission returned to there's a 50% fee on top of the refunded price being paid again.

If a client charges back through Paypal with no discussion with me, I will also open up a claim against them and get my money back. All rights the client previously had for any artwork received from me is also forfeit to me fully, making the images no longer valid for the ‘client’ use.

To Post the commission to any of my art sites.

To use the commission as an example.

To use the commission for promotional purposes myself.

Anything else I see fit for my art business as it is part of my portfolio.

When Client posts they must credit an account of mine or at least use my full handle Sincere-Alear.

Client has the right to repost use my artwork for icons, ID’s, RP, etc. as long as they do not remove the watermark (minus icon) and they give me credit.

Any commissions purchased are for personal use only. The artwork may not be sold or used for Commercial purposes in any way (no bases, merchandise, etc). Prints, stickers, etc are fine as long as for personal use.

People found using my work for commercial use will be blacklisted.

IF a client would like a 30% fee can be paid to keep the commission private. I use commissions to promote myself and keeping it private remove my ability to reach new clients, support myself, and grow as an artist.

I do not, however, claim ownership of the character(s) depicted in the artwork if they are yours.

If I have designed a character for you, you MUST credit me as a designer wherever the reference sheet is posted.

To purchase the rights to your art will be decided on individual terms of agreement per merchandising use of design.
